Puck at Puck Exhibit, Puck Building, September 2009
“Puck at Puck” — an Exhibition of J. Ottmann Lithographing’s Lithographs.
In 2009, Jacquelyn Ottman, a great grand niece of Jacob Ottmann arranged for her collection of Puck prints from Puck magazine, along with examples of the trading cards and board games printed by J. Ottmann Lithographing Co. to be exhibited at the Puck Building for two weeks in September 2009. The collection was subsequently donated to the “Jacquelyn Ottman Collection of J. Ottmann Lithographing Co.”, of the New York Historical Society. Marilyn Kushner, head of the Print department of the New York Historical Society curated the exhibit.
David Galt Greenbaum is featured in one of the videos. He is describing that portion of the exhibit that included his own games that were printed by J. Ottmann Lithographing. Upon his death in 2025, Jacquelyn Ottman purchased 33 of his collected games and donated 25 of them to the Jacquelyn A. Ottman Collection of J. Ottmann Lithographing Co at the New York Historical.
